OOOh, ok ok ok, I have to post a comment now!! I was trying to get through your whole gallery without looking like a comment stalker!! I love how you have music to each of your images, it gives a completely different feeling. This shot is breathtaking, the castle, the SKY???!!! Almost like a little island all on it's own. Truly stunning image :)

I love this photo. Not just the excellent dramatic touches, but the way you balanced the tones and details in the Abbey. And you did this with a PowerShot?
Larry Hill13-Feb-2006 22:40

Eldar,
A wonderful vista, superbly photographed. The colour and saturation are just right.

Thanks for looking in at my galleries,
Happy New Year.

Very nice.

Perhaps a tad bit over saturated, might look better if saturation came down 20% or so but overall a very nice picture.

Looks so surreal, like two photos in one!?
The sharpness of the buildings in contrast
to the blurry far away clouds!
Almost creating a three dimensional effect!
Fantastic work!

Castles and churches always attracted me! This place is one of the most photographed spots in France. You have managed to obtain a "different" photo - the sky is awesome!
Guest 16-Nov-2005 22:47
Great photo! It's almost like a painting
Richard Calmes16-Nov-2005 19:35
What a great shot! at low tide too.
Fred Parsons25-Oct-2005 20:52
This shot blows me away! You did a great job with the clouds and the little camera you used shows it is the photographer not that camera that gets the image

Having been here, in this magic place, for several times, I think I can say that this is the most beautiful I've ever seen of "Mont St Michel". Simply a majestic shot, Eldar !!!

Bravo "Guest", somebody is reading comments :-) in gallery. Well, this is the only image in this particular gallery which was, in fact, edited, the rest is posted with no editing. In my "Variuos Paint & Rendering technique in PS" you will find the same image whereas I explain how editing was made. I simply moved this image to this gallery because I thought that this was so cool, I guess it is :-)
Guest 05-Jul-2005 20:15
If there were "No editing" as you state. Why is the sky and it's reflection in the water a different colour?
Marc Vermeulen02-Jun-2005 06:53
Beautiful and almost dreamy like, nicely done!
Phyllis Stewart02-Jun-2005 03:59
Magnificent photo!

Just a quick comment and I will have to get back and really study your wonderful images like this one in the next few days. Thank you for your nice words about my images in New Hampshire and Arizona. I feel like I am a distant second to in talent to you and your work. Very diverse and very creative. Fred Parsons.
