You see, amigo, the similarities between those 2 villains intestinal ambitions go way further than one could imagine... Joffe was one of those devil's architects who greatly contributed to the destruction of one of the greatest empires and cultures ever existed on the face of Earth. And, yes, as you wisely mentioned, his spiritual and factual diarrhea was so powerful that not only he couldn't sustain that "load", but the whole country collapsed under its burdens. As for his current chess partner Moctezuma, well, that fella made Cortez so angry because of ongoing family problems with his wife Diarrhea ( Moctezuma's daughter ) and personal diarrhea ( sickness ) that he discharged his waters towards Mayan empire. Only few survived that flood...

Hello Most Evil One.... I see you are paying attention to the world wide economic meltdown, as you have brilliantly portrayed Montezuma (some call him Moctezuma) here, rearing his evil face from under his mask. A classic split faced personalty/politician who, because of his extreme greed and corruption led his civilization down the Spanish toilet to oblivion. He was a leader, similar to good ol George Bush, who played extreme class warfare, favoring the very wealthy and himself to the detriment of the masses. And as his middle class deteriorated, so his nation went over the proverbial cliff. The world economic powers can learn a lesson from all this. No doubt Montezuma had found himself appropriately placed in 1666. Interesting, and clever that you added in your subtitle the name and birthday of Adolfe Joffe, one of the major Trotsky architechts of the 1917 revolution. In effect, Joffe, in his zeal, was fighting the kind of material corruption that so marked the likes of Montezuma. However, as in the case of all extremists, the pedulum swung a little too far and, in the end, he was imprisoned in Siberia for "leftism" and subsequently committed suicide. In the United States, travelers who visit Mexico and Central America are warned "not to drink the water." The fear is that if you consume, from the tap, the local waters, you will be stricken with a most severe form of Diarrhea. The popular term for this affliction is called "Montezuma's Revenge." (LOL) Perhaps old Joffe himself was stricken with this disease, and, because fo the intensity, that was the real reason for his suicide. Just a thought. Oy. Michael.

You see, amigo, Moctezuma was Cortez' pal at some time before they broke apart, so he's serving eternal sentence in the same place !
