Tribute To Our Dearest Fluffy Friend & Cutest Tiger Ever... Forever

This gallery is a tribute to our dearest fluffy friend and loveliest child,-Pussinka who left us in complete despair on Monday, June 27, 2005 when his small heart lost its fight to diabetic coma and respiratory arrest caused by severe asthma attack... He collapsed just within couple of days in spite of all our desperate efforts to recover him in hospitals and ERs... He was our the only true friend, devoted and affectionate companion giving us gift of unconditional love, compassion and loyalty for last 12 years... Pussinka was gorgeous longhair silver chinchilla with stunning looks , passionate and gentle character, smart as Lucifer, playful and definitely, felt at home as being king of the house. We're not even trying to convince him otherwise, this would be too goofy and he certainly earned it... He knew more than 25 commands, and his "skill set" included operations with blinds & bath taps, opening all kind of doors, recognition of subjects by name, receptions of the guests, melodic concerts and all kind of complex sounds etc. just to mention the few. This is very unusual for any kitty. He suffered from severe asthma ( smoking is really bad habit :-) ), yet allowed us to treat him with puffer for kids, which was truly touchy... Our pitiful Canon PS45 could not reflect his natural beauty and character, so these pictures don't do any true justice to our cute guy... Last 7 pictures in gallery portray his last few days with us in this life, but we are confident we'll see him again in other life, as for now,- he will be forever in our hearts... Please, vote for this gallery if you liked this fearsome tiger :-), and I would also like to make it as a tribute to all those magnificient creatures who dedicate their lifes to us and becoming part of ours while asking so little in return ,-just a bit of love...

I had to cry when I looked at your wonderful tribute to Pussikina. I can understand the heartbreak of losing a wonderful pet, and I think your photos are not only outstanding, but show how much you loved him. If you get a chance, look at a similar tribute I made for my dog Tipper. We have another now, but somehow it's never the same.

i am so sorry you lost him. i, too, have a persian chinchilla, her name is soma and she is 14 and still running the house of 2 other cats and 1 very small dog. the pictures are a treasure, and you are blessed to have a talent that enables you to catch the best of your baby.

This is a wonderful gallery, Eldar. We also have lost a cat, and have an old one at home who may not be with us much longer. Your photos are a good reminder not to take these devoted creatures for granted. Thanks for your kind comments, I was very touched. I wish I had more time to convert my old 35 mm pics in to digital format, because he was so much funnier when he was young. These days he's mostly exercising serious looks, postures full of self-esteem and behaviour with royal attitude :-). This was real gift of fortune to get him... I am very happy , not sure about him, though :-)
