Two years ago I was at the Central cemetery on a bright and sunny day (to see the gallery click here). This time I chose a rainy day to go to the Jewish section of the Cemetery, to get a different atmosphere. Although it cannot be seen on the images, it was raining quite hard. As it was rather dark, I used my new Nikkor 1:1.4/50 lens exclusively. I bought it in Japan this summer, but so far I did not have an opportunity to test it under hard conditions.
It was the right season to go - because of the colors - and the right day to go - because of the rain and the light that enhances the colors, and make the stones to shine. The lens looks bright and worked well!
