Fuscher Törl, Salzburg

Taken near Fuscher Törl in the Grossglockner region at about 2,300m altitude, well above the tree line. All these lines were created by sheep, which must have been climbing up these steep slopes for years and years in order to graze the tiny plants growing in this climate.

As a result they have prevented erosion of the soil...clever sheep.
