England,Beautiful England.

Our holiday in late May,2006 was in a cottage on an organic farm in deepest Somerset,between Minehead and Porlock,just a mile from the coast.

There were all types of animals on the farm - see how many you can count in these photos.

For the sunset,Nick and I drove up to Selworthy Beacon,just above the cottage and joined perhaps 20 other people to watch a very moving sunset - this is what life is about.....we had our music playing as the sun dropped out of sight over the distant Welsh coast.

Born in Somerset, I have lived in London for 18 years and am relocating to Porlock area. How I have missed the green and pleasant countryside of Somerset. It has so many quaint and different villages and Exmoor and the Quantocks are breathtaking. OK so the sea isn't really blue until you get to Porlock but who cares! Can't wait to return.

Hi Mike, I love your England gallery. You have taken some beautiful images. It reminds me when I used to live south of Manchester in the mid 80's. Unfortunately I did not have a digital camera then. Best Wishes, Walter
