British Grand Prix - Silverstone - July 2011 [work in progress]

As a very special 16th birthday present and end of exam present for Richard,we sold the house and the wife and bought two Platinum tickets for Club corner stand for the British Grand Prix at Silverstone.

For the first time in 61 years,the start/finish moved to the new home straight between Club and Abbey,with the Ł30m Silverstone Wing and Pits.

Our seats had a view of the F1 cars for approx 24 seconds,from Stowe Corner,down to Vale,round into Club and up the home straight before hurtling right into Abbey at improbable speeds!

Two major impressions - the speed through corners and the incredible noise of those engines - simply amazing!
