This engine will eventually be B&M 691 painted black with the Guilford G. This is an exIllinois Terminal unit.
So far it's Hi-Tech sides, P2K SD45 deck, Athearn SD38 chassis, a load of Cannon & Company parts, BLMA .008 grabs, PIA stanchions and some DW, DA and Railflyer parts.

I recently changed my plans and decided to go with a Athearn SD38 chassis after seeing Liz Allen's SD45 at Bellingham. I was originally planning on using a Kato SD40 chassis I had on hand. As a bonus the 3200 gallon center mount tank required very little milling.

I realize the side frames are on backwards in some of the pictures. Those aren't the set of trucks being used. The actual set is on the workbench.
