Most of the people visiting Africa wish to see a lion or a leopard.
But my favorite is the cheetah. Fast, sleek, beautiful and aristocrat - that is the cheetah!
It also get my sympathy as it's all the time under threat of lions. Cheetah cubs are often killed by lions in the southern Kalahari savanna.

How fast it is? The maxium speed obtained by this unique animal can be up to 112 km/h but it is quickly exhausted.

Little is known about the southern Kalahari cheetah population, one of the very important populations of this threatened species.
Therefore some animals have been fitted with radio collars to track their movements.
