The Wilder Kaiser (Wild Emporer) mountains are a range in the Austrian Tyrol, leading off the Inn valley. The range is of limestone, but the Hart Kaiser range is of acid rock. This trip was in June and we stayed in the village of Ellmau. We travelled by train and used the excellent local buses to get around as we walked the two ranges of hills. We were there to look at the wild flowers and any other wildlife we could find. I will be adding to this over the next few weeks
