18th - The Bird

This is a photo I was going to use for February 18th
but chose the Ipod instead. I've never been this
close to a bird before, this bird was pretty brave.

Hi.. thanks for the nice comment on the brown thrasher; you might be able to get away with putting a cheap Tamron 1.4X Teleconverter on your lens and getting some reach. This looks like a mockingbird to me. Lucky you to be in Texas in the spring!!

This is awesome shot, love how much of the shot is out of focus but the bird is tac sharp. This is the winner of the two shots in my oppinion. DP
