In surfing the web this morning, I came across the Museum Site. I found a picture of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus fire in 1944. My mother and my aunt were going to that circus the day of the fire, but something came up and they weren't able to go. I had just heard about that story last summer from my aunt, who is still alive at 90.

My Dad Fred W. Lee, Sr., was a member of the Rockville Fire Dept. until his cancer returned in 1974. I know he had some rank and I believe Asst. Chief at one time. Interesting story and I did look at photos from the museum. I have lived in NH since 1969. My folks both lived in Rockville until their deaths, both in 1975 of cancer, but different typse of cancer. My mother passed in Mar. at 54 and my dad Labor Day at 58.

Great job you people have done by building such a nice mueseum for the firefighters, current and past. D.L.
