Sunday was cool but dry.
I arrived at the zoo just before opening time, to assure me a good parking space.
Animals seemed happy and content.

I exposed a roll of Fuji 200 print film in a black-bodied Pentax ME using the same Vivitar 28-210 mm f:3.5-5.6 macrofocusing zoom lens that I had used recently in Michigan (where I had it mounted to a Pentax K100D digital body).

With the relatively slow film and the longer end of the lens, I shot much of these wide open at f:5.6 or f:3.5, to allow faster shutter speeds. All shots were hand held. I prefer traveling light, without a tripod.
