Vivitar ECO35H

This is a VERY bottom of the barrel camera. Single element probably plastic lens (everything else is plastic). One aperture, one shutter speed, one button, one thumbwheel. Amazingly, it has a working hotshoe for flash.
When I went to the Transportation Museum yesterday I put in a roll of Walgreens ASA 400 prinbt film. I just HAD to see what this camera was capable, or not capable of, and I stretched its limits. Weather was mostly cloudy. The flash I used for fill flash in the shadows was a small weak one. As should be expected, that cheap lens did a lot of light flare off of highly lit areas of the image area, such as sky.
Let me say this, I do not recommend this thing as an everyday shooter.

Great Shots Ed Only Goes to prove that old Saying, It's the person behind the Camera that the most important, Iv'e seen worse shots from more sofisticated cameras

It appears your camera has a fixed aperture around f5.6 or even 8., is that correct? I noticed in most of the shots that things out at a distance of 50 or so feet, it is sharp. I think the gent is right about your blowing one up, but would you dare exceed a 8x10 or even 11x14? I just acquired a Studio 35 camera, and wonder how it would do in similar situation. I don't have a rail yard here anymore, but do have a Time Museum. Might give it a try there.

1-7A looks menacing. An interesting view. You know Ed I think people would be very appreciative of these views of long forgotten trains. It brings so much nostalgia of what used to be. I think every older adult has ridden on these trains at an early age. I know my siblings did. They seem so forlorn. I think you should pick one, matt and frame it and hang it up in your booth. I think it would sell.
9A is a good representation of a forgotten way to travel. Love the rusted Amtrack painting on the side of the car. These rusted old things tell a story. 6A looks like it ran into many a cow on its catcher.

The camera almost exceeds expectations. Since it's better in the center, you could mask off the finder, put on a lens shade to tame the flare a bit and use it for tele shots. Or not. Great pix, in any case.
