I found this small digital camera cheap at a thrift store.

At first I had moderately high hopes for it. It is well featured, compact at 3 inches wide, and uses AA batteries and SD card memory

However, even at highest quality settings, images proved to be mostly krappy.
Some of them were able to be repaired a good deal using image editing software, which tells me that the info for a decent image was stored in the files, but not evident when straight off the camera. Other images were too bad for repair.

Below, a sampling of before and after editing. The one in the shade by the back door came out the same after editing.

As you can see, we are already heading into some of the changes of Fall.
