Snow March 04, 2008

Height of today's winter storm home here in Missouri.
Camera: Pentax K100D digital SLR, lens 18-55, ASA emulation 800.
First two were shot through window screening.
Most of the rest were outdoors, at f:8, at about 1/3000 second, interesting how the snowflakes in the air soften parts of images at such a fast shutter speed.

It is a winter wonderland....Though it is beautiful I am getting sick and tired of it... Wish I was young enough to make snow people...I used to love to do that. We got 13 inches here, what did you get?

Brrrrr. Thanks for the display. With such deep snow can the squirrels reach the bird feeders?
