A few days after Christmas 2007 we visited Missouri Botanical Gardens in St. Louis.
Indoors, they had a room of special model train setups, the theme was United States National Parks. It seemed a great hit with visiting children.
Outdoors, the Gardens were cold and gray. No crowds, but good for some architectural shots.
In the Linnaean House, many of the camelias were in full bloom.
Camera: Pentax ME body with Pentax SMC-A f:1.4 / 50 mm lens.
Film: Kodak 200 for color prints.
All shots were hand held, available light, no flash used. And tripods are NOT allowed on the grounds of the Botanical Gardens, they have their reasons.
Climatron, what a great name. Distinctive sculpture in its own right. Great photos of a very interesting place.

Lovely photographs of the flowers. (Really appreciated this time of year.)
I like the trains too...the movement of the streamliner (#06) is nice.
Good work Ed. Keep the photographs coming.

Smashing Ed
I like the way you have given the illusion of speed in the train shots
especially in 06,by using a slow shutter speed
