900 miles to the east of here is the great city of Philadelphia.
Philadelphia is very old, very big, and very interesting.
On my recent road trip to Pennsylvania I talked my sister, who lives in the Philadelphia suburbs, into taking me to the old part of the city for a brief walking and photo tour.
We found a good curb space with a meter down on Front Street and fed it 2 hours worth of quarters.
We were back in plenty of time, but during that time I captured 188 images with my Pentax *ist D digital SLR.
I have worked it down to some 52 images to show, here are the first half or so.
Wonderful scenes Ed. It must have been a great feeling to walk the streets
where our Founding Fathers once walked. Inspirational scenes of Carpenters and
Independence Halls. Love the photograph of the children all in red crossing
the street like so many ducklings. Your good eye caught it.
