ACG Mid America Gathering St. Louis Valley Park

On Thursday Richard and I went from the conservation area out to the flood levy on the Meramec River in Valley Park.
It was a cool spot in the evening on a very hot day.
That tree was stuck under the Highway 141 bridge during the last flood, when the Meramec came up about 40 feet.
I was still carrying the Pentax K110 D with broken auto focus.

Here in Groton, we panic if the Nashua rises five feet!!! i can't even imagine forty feet!!! That branch says a lot!!!
