This is another derelict camera that I salvaged in online auction.
Camera needed new foam light seals, and new foam mirror bumper.
The 2.0 lens was missing front parts, the ring within the front portion that has all the data about brand name and specs, was gone completely. I covered that area with a ring I cut from black foam rubber, framed on the inside with a plastic ring I cut from the lid of a black film tub.
The spring to return the advance lever to its resting position is not functioning, and I have not done any internal repairs, so I used a rubber band to keep the lever close to the body; it still allowed me to advance film, the band stretched with the motion.
The bottom mirror bumper was gone and so it focused incorrectly: I made a new little bumper from a stack of small black duct tape squares, until the focus was calibrated.
The film counter is also inoperative, I will have to open the top and reset the dial and coil spring, if I want that to work. So when I shot my roll of film I counted off exposures in my head, and got it right, 25 exposures or so.
It was another beautiful Saturday, so I drove over to Pevely and Kimmswick for my test shoot.
I decided to limit the test to a single 24 exposure roll of ASA 200 color print film.
The camera performed just fine, for a camera that had been pretty well trashed.
Nice pics of Kimmswick..Miss flea market......Janice

Goes to show "it ain't the camera...it's the artist behind it". Nice closeups
very colorful gourds, squash and pumpkins denotes a still sharp lens. Love the
old buildings and picket fences. Nice work.
