Forest Park, January Thaw

Despite rough weather all around us, here in the St. Louis area we are experiencing our second January Thaw.
I seized the opportunity to get out.
A little Italian made camera rescued from the flea market got a fresh roll of 127 film, and I headed in to Forest Park.
It was a little bit of a shock that the 127 roll was only good for 8 exposures, and I had an empty camera rather quickly.
So I returned to the car and brought out a backup bag that I had grabbed leaving home, with a Pentax K110 D and 18 to 55 mm zoom lens. The statue of St. Louis the King in front of the Art Museum seemed a good subject to play with in the clear winter light. There was time for a short visit to the Zoo, which was close by.
When I returned home the 127 film went into the mail off to Kansas for developing, and the memory card from the Pentax went into my desktop computer.
The digital frames were mostly underexposed, and I did some work on them in software. The camera body also showed a lot of dust on the sensor, that will be addressed in the near future.
Film results from the Italian camera should be back to me in a week or two.
