Fall 2006 with Minolta A2

I picked up this little rangefinder-type 35mm camera at a flea market in the early 90's. It was inoperative, but it seemed so unique at the time, that I worked on it until it was clean and functioning. I ran a roll of film through it in 1995, at the St.louis Zoo, then put it aside.
This last week I pulled it off the shelf and gave it another roll.
Minolta A2, circa 1958. Rokkor f:2.8 / 45mm lens. Aperture blades are in the lens barrel. Blade shutter is completely to the rear of the lens elements. Shutter is B and 1 -> 400. Coupled rangefinder, bright frame finder has automatic parallax compensation.
Film for this run was Konica Minolta ASA 200 print film.
On Saturday, it was a crisp clear day, with wet and cloudy weather predicted for immediate future. There was a hint of color change in the foliage. I went up to what used to be Hi Dee Ho Girl Scout Camp, on Highway PP at Upper Byrnesmill Road, years ago when my daughter was in Scouts. I had not been on the property in 15 years or so. Since then, the County had acquired it as a Nature Preserve. There was no one on the trails but me.
