I posted a gallery of images from this camera in the Summer of 2005.
However, I have decided that I am not happy with the set, which was scanned from the paper prints.
So I found the old negatives and I made this set yesterday, from fresh negative scans. My equipment is better than what I had in 2005.
Something to see on a cold winter day.
Camera: Wirgin Edinex type (0)... 1930s, Prontor II shutter 1-175 (same exact shutter assembly as with the ultrarare Argus B) in collapsible barrel, Gewironar uncoated f:4.5 / 5cm lens... front cell focusing, down to somewhere less than 2 feet (!)....
Film: Konica/Minolta ASA 200.
I had concerns with the camera, since I could not get it apart to do a good cleaning or inspection (the escutcheon holding the barrel in place has tiny pitch screws that feel as if they were welded)... but considering camera's age, I was happy enough with results.
One flaw evident, top center of some shots, a little smear of white flare or internal reflection. I cannot tell the direct cause, since I cannot open the camera, and it is a one-piece bottom loading body like an early Leica.
Subjects: Rockford Beach on Big River, city of Byrnesmill, Jefferson County, Missouri;
Transport Museum, St.Louis County, Missouri;
And Zoe, our living room lamp holder.
Refreshing views of summer on the beach...particularly during these cold,
dark days of winter. Nice work Ed. Glad to see Zoe is still upholding
the illuminations.

Ed,
That's the professional in you speaking out. I'm never satisfied either, unless I can see what I know I took. I used to have one of those cameras, and was disgusted with it myself, but sure is a novel looking camera, feels so good in hadn. Like the river shots.
