Extract from notebook:

...walked up to Madeline church [in mid afternoon], then Metro back to hotel. In hindsight, the next two sites were chosen poorly: the Paris Contemporary Art museum was mostly closed for new installations, but there was a couple of galleries of the Elle design award winners (interesting furniture) and permanent collection (Braque, Bonnard, furniture, etc.). The Palais de Tokyo was closed for installation as well, but had drinks at the Tokyo Eat (ginger/lime/mint concoction; raspberry).

Going to Cambodian restaurant for dinner...[later] The restaurant was good (starters: assortment of dim sum; Chicken with Cambodian curry (soup-like); ginger roasted fish in banana leaf). Even better - afterwards, I walked to the Four Seasons George V hotel, and was able to snag a reservation for Monday at Le Cinq!

After b/f in hotel, Metro to Chatelet, walked across bridge to Ile de la Cite / St Chapelle. Long lines were forming for something to do with the Patrimonie of Paris, which is this weekend. We were worried that we'd burn a lot of time in line, but it was for something else in the Palace of Justice which is not normally open to the public. Unfortunately half the windows at St Chapelle are out for restoration....
