Monday 10 November 2008 we had an autumn storm.Exactly what the director needed,so this time there were no ventilators or speedboats to make waves.Your photographer had to brace to avoid camera movement.
This time evacuation of victims from the pension/hotel was shot. The Dutch army and the Koninklijke(royal)Marechaussee(gendarmerie)in dark uniform came to resue with dingies.
In this gallery you can see a pic of Luc Kuppens,dike-reef,who controlled the sluices to let in/out as much water as required for some scenes.Sometimes varying the level, normally 6,5 feet, only with increments of 6 or 10 inches!!
Terrific job on this set, Ed. You have given us quite a variety of things to see and it is all so interesting. You have a gift for many things - people photography among them!
