My name is Eddie Maier born in Johnstown, PA; living in Morgantown WV. I work with oil painted woodblock printmaking. Block printing consists of carving a slab of wood, inking the surface, then using the inked block to print onto handmade paper. I learned my trade while traveling to Australia. Much of my inspiration come from traveling in America and abroad to places in Europe and Ghana, West Africa. I have a deep love for nature and want to spend my time there.
