This is about as close as I'll get to tonight's 4th of July fireworks. Good enough.
The calla lilies that were planted this spring are doing well. Checked this morning after the sprinklers shut down and liked this one. Laid a black item on the ground to eliminate the mottled ground texture and make the lily's colors pop a bit more.
I'm using a circular polarizer for macros all of the time now. Flowers look better when the glare is reduced. WIthout it, the left edge of this flower is almost blown out (white).
