The earliest blooming plants in our area (that I know of, aside from maybe skunk cabbage which is the earliest blooming wildflower). The winter jasmine are on their last legs - a few yellow blossoms, but most are the spent transparent white shriveled kind. So here it is for the 2006 bloom season - The Winter Jasmine.
This is a double exposure; one sharp & one wide open and totally out of focus resulting in a yellow blur which is what causes the glow around the blossom.
