A neat little alley in old town Manassas. The is anothr retake of a similar shot made last March - then with an 18mm lens and now with a 12mm (plus 6 months additional experience shooting in trickier conditions) It was dark and rainy (made for nice reflections). One plus in getting up at 5 AM on a Saturday morning to get this shot was that there was very little traffic and no tourist walking into the shot.
This will probably be one of my two colored prints for the November Nightscapes themed competition. Here's last March's version (different club) http://www.pbase.com/ed_k/image/42794836 I think that I prefer the previous version - a bit more dramatic (however today's PAD is more realistic in terms of what I think I saw). The 2nd of two allowed entries will be the one at "next" of a variation of the station shot (did about 10 different versions).
