Taken within the past 24 hours, so this will have to do for today's PAD. A doctor's appointment shot the entire morning today and now it's trying to rain and I'm tired. Is that enough excuses? The only photos I'll take today are "dust bunny" shots since I notice that at least one camera's CCD has an ugly glob on it.
Shot yesterday in the Shenandoah National Forest; the fire road is accessed at about mile post 48. Not a lot of color, but in a week or so this stretch will be all shades of yellow and gold (we don't get much of the brilliant reds & oranges found in New England and other locales). The heavy mist (cloud) adds to the atmosphere - love it! You can bet that I'll be back every week until the trees are bare (and then covered with snow, and then spring blossoms, ...)
