The stereotypical vacation postcard picture - "Dear Mom, Wish you were here. Having a great time."
Getting this image - and similar shots in spots overrun by tourists (and photographers) - really takes a long time. Set up the shot (on a tripod) and then wait, and wait, and.... for an opening that's more or less "people-free" (or better, people-free and a crashing wave). This one took over 30 minutes. But, if you had to sit and kill time waiting it would be hard to find a better spot. Next year we're going back after school starts & avoid the mob-scenes.
