I was experimenting with my 12-24 wide angle lens. More specifically I was trying it with a circular polarizer. I don't think that I'll use the CP very often - the lens is too wide at the 12mm end to use with the CP and it results in a big difference in the tone of blue in the sky from one side of the image to the other. In this case the maximum polarization effect is at the left side; minimum at the right. The tonal difference way too great.
