9/29/04 - Dark Hollow Falls

At the base of Dark Hollow Falls - About 75 feet high, I'd guess. One thing that I know is that it's 1.6 miles down the hill from the parking area (and not the 0.6 miles, as in my wife - "Oh go ahead down; it's only six-tenths of a mile). Yeah, right! The falls were spectacular after 3-4" of rain the day before compliments of hurricane Jeanne leftovers. My weekly trip to Shenandoah National Park.

That is an incredible shot! I wish I could make my waterfall pics come out so nicely. I can't seem to meter the digicam correctly for such a long exposure though... Excelent work!
