3-25-06 Simple setup.jpg

Di had indicated that she was trying to duplicate the lighting effect that I have posted recently.
I figured that I could kill 2 birds with one stone and post a shot of my setup and jump into the picture for a SP
Unfortunately we had no sun today so I could not show the angled light hitting the BG and smoke glass.
I did however show the halogen light that I have used

Canon EOS 20D
1/125s f/4.0 at 17.0mm iso400 full exif

other sizes: small medium original

In showing us your set up, you have produced a great portrait of yourself. Excellent lighting on your face. Must give this a go one day.

I like the self-portrait perspective and the practical suggestion to improve the light effects.
The result is a very pelasant picture, spontaneus and natural

Nice SP, Ed. That seems almost too simple for the beautiful shots we see.
