Salmon Stripping Demonstration by NH Fish & Game Dept.

Every year the NH Fish & Game Dept. puts on a public demonstration of the process of stripping eggs from female Lake Winnipesaukee landlocked salmon and then fertilizing them. The eggs are then incubated over the winter. After they hatch, the fish are fed and protected from predators until they are 10" - 12" in length, at which time they are released into Lake Winnipesaukee and other NH lakes and rivers.
