Christine, you have the beginnings of an excellent and diverse gallery. The self-portrait work in "An Essay On Waiting" is very powerful indeed. Your work with children shows maturity in terms of the various moods you've capture. "Pig Tales" convey great humour. The "Ice Flowers" photos are technically and artistically stunning. The photos of the Toronto Brickworks transcend the original structures many times over!!! Pease continue to experiment and build on this great start that you have. Christine, you're clearly a talented photographer in your own right but that fact that you've developed such a vision by the tender age of 15 is humbling to the rest of us. I particularly enjoyed An Essay on Waiting and Ice Flowers, which show a developed sense of aesthetic and emotion.

You have a good eye for color and composition and great care can be seen in the establishment of your images. You also show the range of going from careful, planned composition to some very nice candid portraits of children where that eye must be quick to grab the moment.

Thanks Scott. I really appreciate your nice comments and your offer. It is very much appreciated and I may ask you in the future. At this point in time, I am concentrating on the preparation of my portfolio for post-secondary studies. I should mention that I was given the permission to publish some of these pictures (mainly in the children�s gallery) at the condition that they be used solely for non commercial purposes, and uniquely to showcase my work and build my portfolio for university � I will stick to my commitment to the parents of these children. I have been published a few times in photo magazines to showcase some of my other work, but did not seek financial gain. Thanks again for the offer - it is very thoughtful of you. Christine

Christine You have no idea how good your photos are. You could currently sell your photos to magazines, newspapers and for stock. All pay great (good) compensation for photos that are used. If you want to learn more about who to talk with at mags or newspapers (in Toronto) just ask me. Nearly every photo in this gallery would make the front pages of every paper in Toronto and elsewhere around the world. Perhaps all you need to know is who to contact at the newspapers. If you are interested, just talk with me. I can help. Scott

Great gallery Christine. Eclectic works really well here. You have captured a bunch of contrasting subjects, each with its own stunning composition, contrast and colour. Well done. BTW, a friend of mine won one of the Minolta Challenges (now Konica Minolta Challenges) with a photo of the square bubbles at the Toronto Airport. The theme was CHAOS! :^) The PBase galleries that contain our Challenges and some other stuff are at http://www.pbase.com/mtf_foto_studies. Claudio's winning shot (Cuboids Swarming in Challenge #7) is in this Hall of Fame Gallery http://www.pbase.com/mtf_foto_studies/km_chal_hof_c6_cx.
