Ecclesiastical Kaleidoscope

I've had comments that this image has been Photoshopped, this is
a handheld shot as taken from the camera. The architectural design
and perspective of the shot almost gives a kaleidoscope like effect.
This magnificent ceiling is often easily overlooked by tourists.

yes, using the guilded moulding half way up as a built-in frame is very successful; if you were flat on the floor, hope you didn't get mistaken for a tomb effigy
