Anyone for Cricket(s)?

Xizang Nanlu, Shanghai

Spotted in an indoor market in Shanghai. The noise from these crickets in plastic containers was unbelievable.
In Shanghai there are apparently 20 cricket markets, where crickets are raised and sold for fighting, a hobby dating back to the Tang Dynasty (AD 618-907).

Fascinating. I was wondering what they were sold for. Initially I thought pets... fighting crickets. Very interesting indeed.
