Welcome to my PBase galleries. I am a keen amateur photographer based in Ramsgate, East Kent UK. I have lived in Ramsgate since 1997 but was born in Bermuda, and have lived in several parts of the UK and have travelled extensively with my job.

My interest in photography was rekindled in 2003 with the purchase of a compact digital camera (Canon A80), initially concentrating on landscape and panoramic photography. I became interested in wildlife and bird photography in 2006 after visiting the Turf Fields Hide at Stodmarsh Nature Reserve Click here. Its probably fair to say I am now hooked on wildlife photography, and photographing the Kingfishers at Stodmarsh has become a bit of an obsession!
I am continually striving to improve my photographic technique and constructive feedback is very much appreciated, either on individual images or in my guestbook.
