Jan 25, 2010 - At 23:17hrs, The Jewett City, Griswold, Lisbon, Voluntown and Taftville fire departments responde to 124 North Main St for a building fire. Jewett City Chief arrived and found a well involvd store front. Crew attempted an interior attack and then had to abandon those efforts after condition detereorated and exterior operations went under way. it took a couple hours to control. The Griswold and State FMO are investigating
