Alpine Garden Waterfall

Vail, Colorado

Water flows over boulders in a man-made waterfall at Betty Ford Alpine Gardens, Vail, Colorado.
At 8,200 feet (2,499 meters), the Gardens are a lovely place to visit whenever the foliage
is in bloom. For more information, go to

.
It Might Be Interesting to Know: The effect seen here was created by duplicating the Background
layer in Photoshop. The Find Edges filter was then applied in Color Burn mode. Next, the Find
Edges layer was duplicated and a Watercolor effect was applied in Soft Light mode. Finding the
right mix took quite a bit of experimentation, so have fun if you try it yourself!
