Morning Meditation with Mom
While mom meditates with her Mala beads, I "meditate" with my face pressed into a pillow. The absorbent pads on the bed are there in case I have an accident before I can make it to a litter box.

Snoozing With Dad
Taking a nap with dad's arm wrapped around me. My condition has been going down hill for awhile now and I'm prone to bladder control accidents. I just can't get up and make it to the litter box in time. For that reason, mom and dad have absorbent pads strategically situated around the house. They also placed an old vinyl tablecloth below the top comforter. That way, if I have an accident, it does not soil all of the bedding underneath.

Mom Keeps Me Warm
I have to rest a lot these days as I walk from one place to another in the house. We've had a bit of a cold snap so on this occasion mom huddled over me like a momma cat to keep me warm.

Napping on Dad's Arm
Yes, I know I've posted a lot of, "kitty is sleeping" photos, but it's what we kitties do. Also, these are very special times. We don't know how many more naps and snuggles we'll have before I make my transition to the big kitty land in the sky.

Panthor on the Vanity
Sister Panthor rests on mom's vanity. She and mom have a special "Girls Only" clubhouse going on in mom's bathroom. They hang out together and have conversations. Dad is only allowed if he takes over brushing duties when mom is not available.

Blackie After the Blizzard
We had a one day blizzard that dropped about 2.5 feet (.76 meters) of snow on the ground. The following day, mom and dad cleared a path so that the neighborhood strays could get to our back door slab. Our friend Blackie was the first visitor. He had probably not eaten for a couple of days.
The rough patch over his right eye is from a battle wound or injury from a few years ago. The skin was originally raw and looked like he had been burned. Stray cats have a remarkable healing ability. They get torn up so badly in turf battles with other kitties that you think that they couldn't possibly survive, and yet they do.
We do what we can for all of our neighborhood strays.

My Pillow
Using my cigar stuffed with catnip as a pillow. Yes, I know I sleep a lot. It's what we do.
