Mercanton descent

Torgeir enjoys life (while it lasts! ;) along the snow-edge from Mercantontoppen/2188m to Hakluyttoppen S/2173.
Some serious wind gusts constantly thrust across the edge, so you'd better hold your center of weight low!
A fall here will be fatal. There are very steep and frozen snow-slopes on either side,
almost 300 vertical meters inside the crater, and some 600-1000 meters on the other side.
Better concentrate man!
Just 4 of us proceeded here, to summit all the peaks around the Beerenberg crater.

Olympus E-3, ZD 14-54@14mm, F9, 1/1600s IS, ISO 100, EV-0.3, handheld full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto
