Turid enjoys the southern outlook from near Wordiettoppen/2210m.
The black rock in the ice under us is the so called "Nunataken"/1575m, a landmark often used for navigation on the Beerenberg mountain.
To the left, in the farthest shadow that stretches across the ice, you can even spot our BC tents, as tiny black dots within the leftmost shadow tongue.
