I have these plants booming this year about 120 stems at the same time, it look so beautiful. Love them.

Hi Dougie, I am currently taking care of my friend's Clavia while she enjoys Florida. And guess what - it has bloomed. She has neve seen it bloom!! Kathy

Hi, My friend gave me her very mature plant in bloom last August. Now it's new plant (within the same pot has its first bloom. I've very excited. It is exactly the type you have depicted so beautifly on your gallery. Love it!

my aunt gave me one of these i am not sure exactly what it need but i was told to keep it root bound which means keep it in the same pot so the roots are tight and if you want it to bloom cut off the new babies it sprouts im pretty sure u can just put them in a new pot and water also i was told to keep mine very dry i hope this helps some of you out there

I have a clavia bulb....do I put it back into the dirt , in a pot and keep it inside he hous this winter? I had not even heard of a Clavia plant before last week when a friend gave me one......she said that the bulbs cost $65.00 each...is this true? Nancy Weisser

Hello, I was given a small Clavia plant in October 2006. It has bloomed 2 times since, the most recent being 2 weeks ago. This plant has become one of my favourites and the flower give much to behold. Cherie - Toronto Canada

Great series of pictures. My Clavia blooms this spring after having it for 4 years. During the 4 yrs it grow a second plant and is now has big as the original plant. This spring there are 2 additional small plants. Do you know how to transplant these plants?

wow! amazing photographs of a amazing flower. My friend gave me this plant she grew from her plant from a seed. I have had this plant for about 14 years and it has bloomed about 4 times. I never knew what it was called but the first time it bloomed, it was the prettiest thing. Yesterday I walked into a plant store and for the first time I saw it, and finally knew what it was called. Your images reflect such beauty.
