Well, I’ve been recently bitten by one when I was pulling weeds for a neighbor, their bite goes unnoticeable until probably the next day. My bite is less than the size of a dime. I didn’t feel nauseas but I do have swelling, and a blister on where the spider bit.

I have a lot of these in my backyard. Are they poisonous to dogs?

My bite formed a whole in the middle, was the size of a dime, and peeled several times before healing. It took several weeks to heal. I did not feel ill.

They are reluctant to bite unlike some aggressive spiders. Their venom is not deadly to humans, unless of course you have an allergic condition. The symptoms of a bit are, redness, swelling and even a blister may form. You could possibly have nausea and a low temperaturs, syptoms will go away within 24 hours of bite.
