Sorry..just noticed messages went to top of the pack when they "disappeared". I have a question : which of the "brown spiders " (loxosceles spp) are officially in Florida? Ive submitted samples of " brown recluse" to university only to be told they arent in Florida. But they have proper number of eyes, violin on back of carapace, etc. I know thete are ,like, 19 diffrent species. All are dangerous in varying levels.

Ive tried to enter message 4 times now from my android phone. Twice, when hitting "add comment", my message disappeared. It was about wolf spiders and southern house spider. Did it go through?

When i hit reverse, to get the typing characters out of the way,so i could hit "add comment", message disappeared. Using an android phone. Will try message 1 more time:
The only spiders with babies on back of female i know of are wolf or related species, like grass spiders. The spider pictured above also called the Southern House Spider. Sexes are dimorphic...2 different forms. Female is pictured above. Males are skinny, longger legged and tan. Males often mistaken for brown recluse.

The only spider i know that carries babies on back of female is the regular wolf spider. The dark gray, funnel web spiders are the Southern House spider. They are dimorphos......male and female very different. Females are fat and dark gray to black. Males are long legged, spindly, and tannish. Males mistaken for brown recluse sometimes.

Oh my. Something like happen to me too. I opened my door to leave the house and this spider stopped in FRONT of my door and little spiders just started spewing everywhere. I threw up in my mouth a little and went screaming to my boyfriend who saved the day. LOL

I have a bunch of medium sized dark brown spiders hanging around my house, that when you spray it or "whack" it, hundreds of little teeny spiders instantly spew out of it in all directions. Does anyone know what it could be?
