Tom Pergola II is a multi-talented artist working in a number of media including ceramics, metal and video. He does very creative ceramic sculptural pieces that display spectacular use of color and detail.

These pieces incorporate all manner of complex glazing processes using multiple firings, decals, and various printing and lithographic techniques. The audience was treated to demonstration of an amazing array of methods. Silk screening, making your own decals, and block printing with homemade inks suitable for high firing were among the many topics covered.

The evening provided a wealth of ideas that could be incorporated into some future projects.
