Two rolls of Kodak 400TX taken around the former Reading Railroad Perkiomen Branch bridge over the Schuylkill River at Oaks, Pennsylvania. Most of the former right-of-way is now a recreational multi-use trail, but the Perkiomen Trail departed from the R-o-W north of Oaks, traveling south along the Perkiomen Creek and ending with its intersection with the Schuylkill River Trail, north of the Schuylkill River a quarter mile or so. The branch line crossed the Schuylkill on this single track bridge and joined the Reading mainline which is on the south side of the river at this location.
We used Kodak 400TX (Tri-X), metered at ISO 250 and developed in HC-110 Dilution H (1+63). Most of the shots were taken with a yellow filter, and one stop compensation added. About 3/4 of the shots from the beginning were taken with the Zenzanon PS 80mm f/2.8. Later we used the Zenzanon PS 110mm f/4.5 1:1 Macro to permit closer focusing.
For the most part, this was more an exercise in abstract composition than documentation.
