This section begins at Riverfront Park on the West edge of Pottstown. (There is, as of 2011, no finished trail
through or immediately below Pottstown.) The route pretty much stays on the old Pennsyvania RR right-of-way
up to Birdsboro. From there, the route is marked out with "Share the Road" signs further west until it rejoins
some more finished trail. Ye Olde Photographer's first ride beyond Douglassville stopped short of
Birdsboro, as his legs are relearning the concept of getting away from a computer desk!
This is part of the Thun ("tune") section of the SRT, named for Ferdinand Thun, a 19th C. Reading industrialist.
